Voices
First-hand perspectives from inside the Southern Cone
Interviews, conversations, and contributed perspectives from people who shape, observe, or navigate the region from within.
The region is often explained through macroeconomic summaries, investor narratives, or political headlines. Voices is designed to add something different: direct perspectives from entrepreneurs, operators, researchers, producers, founders, local business figures, and other people whose experience helps make the Southern Cone more legible from the inside out.
This format is not built around celebrity. It is built around relevance. A factory owner in Santa Catarina, a logistics operator in Paraguay, a founder in Santiago, a livestock producer in Patagonia, a sustainability specialist in Uruguay, or a market observer in Tucumán may each reveal something about how the region actually works that does not appear in formal reports.
Voices will include:
- interviews with entrepreneurs, executives, and founders
- conversations with local specialists and market participants
- grounded perspectives from people working within specific sectors, regions, and production systems
- selected external contributions where they add real insight into the Southern Cone
The purpose is simple: to complement analysis with lived perspective.
Econosur remains an editorial platform, and Voices is curated accordingly. Not every perspective is published as endorsement, and not every interview is intended as promotion. The aim is to document how people inside the region understand the structures, constraints, opportunities, and contradictions that define it.
